This week I’m continuing light, consistent training during our last week of holiday as well as working on developing a better set of daily middle-age-man habits. I need to figure out which ones are serving me well, what new practices should I adopt, and the hardest part–dropping the habits that aren’t supporting Project 2017.
Habit Change 1–Get to sleep faster
I’ll rate my sleep as a 7 out of 10, which isn’t bad, but I know if I can improve it, my athletic life and health will drastically improve from say a 4 out of 10…a little pull of the lever in one area should reap big benefits in others.
I’ve got one big thing to fix–the ability to get to sleep at a decent time. I get enough sleep, and usually good quality sleep, however not being able to enter dreamland at a decent hour means that morning workouts aren’t happening.
